Dual Education and Training (DUET) — What is a DUET / apprenticeship system?

Programmes intended for long-term employment using a work-based learning model, where apprentices:

Have long-term high-value employment and
Supervised on-the-job training along with
Job-related education, all while
Earning a wage and acquiring higher-level skill that increases during the progression of the programme

Creation of High-Value Industries and Workforce

In DUET programmes, participating companies:

Hire loyal, motivated, and high-productive employees and
Align labour costs with their efficiency and productivity whilst also
Ensuring their workforce is able to transform to evolving needs of the business
